Student Fees

The Song for the Nations Cultural Foundation, which organizes the Crescendo Summer Institute, reserves the right to change the prices, if necessary, in the current uncertain situation. Should this occur, it will be communicated to the applicants in writing. In this case, regardless of the cancellation deadlines, the applicant will have the possibility to withdraw from the application and the fee already paid will be refunded.

REGISTRATION FEE

20 € 

PLEASE NOTE: The registration fee is non-refundable. However, in case of participation, it will be included in the participation fee.
Application will only be processed after arrival of the registration fee.
Registration fee should be sent within 8 days of submitting the application in myCSI. Failure to meeting the deadline may lead to the deletion of your application.
 

PARTICIPATION FEE ***

Instruments, voice:

400 € for early birds 10 Jan - 11 Feb
500 € between 12 Feb - 1 May

Members of the choir:

300 €  10 Jan - 1 May


The participation fee includes:​ 

  • course fee
  • accommodation and food 
  • participation in programs
  • possibility of practicing

For international students, payments will be accepted in euro only.

DISCOUNTS

If you apply for discount, please note that Crescendo is a non-profit organisation, its incomes are based mainly on donations, therefore discount possibilities are limited.

TUITION FEE DISCOUNT:

CSI offers a discount from the participation fee on an individual basis for talented students and also for those in need. The tuition fee discount is decided by the board on the basis of the detailed justification and any further uploaded documents. 

Discount may be requested in the myCSI application system. 

FAMILY DISCOUNT:

In case of the participation of 2 siblings, participation fee is 330 € per person.
In case of the participation of 3 siblings, participation fee is 300 € per person.

Please note that in case of family discount, we are not able to offer further tuition fee discount.
 

CSI AMBASSADOR DISCOUNT:

Spread the word about us. Share your experiences. Invite your friends. Put out our posters. You may be rewarded with a discount of up to 100%. The discount depends on you!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • All fees are gross amounts.
  • Application can be submitted via the myCSI system. Application becomes valid by pressing the Submit button.
  • You can communicate with us via the myCSI Message board. You will also be given updates about your application status and further details about your course via the myCSI Message board.
  • Payment deadline and amount to be paid will be given on the Summary and Finances page of your myCSI application form.
  • You may pay either in one lump sum or in installments.
  • If you need an invoice you can either mark your need on myCSI or on the spot latest at check-in. Invoice will be handed over to you upon checking out from Crescendo Summer Institute. Should you need the invoice before that date, please contact us.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • In case a student cancels his/her participation before May 31, participation fee that has already been paid will be fully refunded.***
  • In case a student cancels his/her participation between June 1–20, 50 percent of participation fee will be refunded.***
  • In case a student cancels his/her participation after June 20, no refund is possible.
  • In case Crescendo Summer Institute cannot be held due to vis maior, participation fee (as well as registration fee) that has already been paid to us will be fully refunded.
