Violinist Zsolt Kalló at Crescendo

We warmly welcome professor Zsolt Kalló violinist at Crescendo.

Zsolt Kalló is the musical leader, concert master and soloist of Capella Savaria. He graduated with distinction from the Ferenc Liszt Academy in 1990, and he went on with his studies under Sándor Végh in Salzburg. He has been concert master at different chamber ensembles all around the world, such as Sonora Hungarica, Aura Musicale, Concerto Armonico, Orfeo Orchestra, and he is also known as a soloist due to his television, radio and CD recordings. He is founder of Authentic Quartett and Trio Antiqua. The violin concerts of Tomasini, Kraus, Michael Haydn were first performed in Hungary by him. He is a regular guest professor at various early music courses. At the moment he is professor at Artistic High School in Szombathely, Hungary and at Tibor Varga Music Institute, István Széchenyi University, Győr, Hungary. His music performer activity was acknowledged with a Ferenc Liszt Prize in 2014.
