Collaborative Pianist

Tamás Kéry has started his piano studies in his natal city, Debrecen, where he has learned percussions as well for a couple years. With his final exam he received the Kodály Award of the Zoltán Kodály Highschool for Music of Debrecen. He graduated as a pianist at the F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, under István Lantos, András Kemenes, Balázs Szokolay and Márta Gulyás. After that he has studied at the universities of Weimar and Munich, with the professors Rolf-Dieter Arens and Vadim Suchanov (piano) as well as with Thomas Steinhöfel and Donald Sulzen (Lied accompaniment). He obtained his degree (Meisterklasse) as Lied accompanist at the College of Music of Munich, as a student of Rudi Spring. 

He took part in masterclasses of György Kurtág, György Sebők, Zoltán Kocsis, Dmitri Bashkirov, Péter Frankl, Piernarciso Masi, Helmuth Deutsch and Malcolm Bilson, among others.

He has won awards both as a pianist and chamber musician in several national and international competitions. He has been awarded more times for performing hungarian contemporary music.

After the Béla Bartók Highschool of Music, in Budapest, the universities of Munich and Nuremberg, as well as the August Everding Theater Academy of Munich and the National Theater of Nuremberg, he is accompaniing teacher of the F. Liszt of Music in Budapest since 2012 and recently teacher of the László Hermann Highschool of Music in Székesfehérvár.

He has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in several countries of Europe, as well as in Turkey, Argentina, Paraguay and Brasil and gave master classes too in the South American continent.
