Classical guitar

The guitar course with Mateus Dela Fonte will be held between 26 July – 2 August. Each student will have at least four solo lessons during Crescendo Summer Institute (CSI).

The course offers a wide range work in four music areas:
  – Classical repertoire for guitar solo
  – Introduction to the counterpoint in the Choro music style
  – Guitar technique with elements of improvisation
  – Chamber music

Besides solo lessons students may choose from one of the following courses: chamber music / jazz-improvisation. Choice has to be indicated on the myCSI application form. Decision will be made by the faculty.

Students will have the possibility to perform at the sectional closing concert. They might have further performing possibilities based on their teacher’s recommendation. Last, but not least, several concerts, lectures and social programs will be offered to participants for free.
